Framed within the magnificent Somerset House are two MAJOR exhibitions on right now.
In the Southwing of the gallery, stands an array of gowns so alarmingly beautiful, it's honestly difficult to know which way to focus your attention first.
Some beaded, some sequenced, some twisted, turned, dipped and dyed. 60's cocktail dresses, 70's glitter gowns and modern day fashion romance at it's very best.
Whatever you might think of Valentino, you simply can not deny this couturiers magic.
Then but a shuffle away in the buildings Eastwing is the extra, awesome, macabre ridiculousness of Tim Walker. A fashion photographer with a strange, cartoon vision of the end of the fashion world.
If you live in, or anywhere near the periphery of London, then do yourself a favour and GO see both these exhibitions.
